Eder, LeaFulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant
Biography
Lea Eder grew up in Austria and lived there almost her whole life. She has completed a bachelor’s degree in Education for German and History at the University of Vienna and is currently writing her master’s thesis on the topic of second wave feminism in Austria in the 1970s and 1980s. In 2023, Lea studied abroad in Belfast for one semester where she had the chance to teach German as second language to students at an English-speaking school. Besides feminist movements all around the world after 1945, Lea is highly interested in socio linguistics and of course teaching German as a second language. Lea is really looking forward to sharing her knowledge about her home country and the German language with the Emory students this academic year!
