Deutsches Haus

clairmont_tower.jpgLocated on the 7th floor of the Tower Apartments on the Clairmont Campus, Deutsches Haus offers a unique living environment where daily activities are conducted in German. It has three bedrooms, and can accommodate 6 students.

The Teaching Assistant for the Department of German Studies lives in the apartment, speaks German with the residents, and helps coordinate extra-curricular activities such as viewing a German film, socializing, or discussing current events. A benefit of living in Deutsches Haus for our students is the daily opportunity to practice German with a native speaker.

A Halle Foundation Scholarship in the amount of at least $2,000 is awarded to students who live in the house and enroll in the required 1-credit course in the fall semester.

For more information please view the Residence Life & Housing Web Page.
