Opportunities Abroad

Emory University offers many opportunities and several scholarships for students to study abroad during a regular academic year as well as during the summer.

A Summer in Vienna, Austria

The German Studies Department is proud to lead Emory's longest standing Summer Study Abroad Program. For more information about the program for this coming summer, click here.

Semester Study Abroad

During the academic year students can study for one semester or for the entire year in programs offered through the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES) in Berlin, Vienna and Freiburg. Students in IES programs can take courses both at IES Centers and at the local university. These courses are treated as if they were Emory courses. For more information about the IES programs, please contact The Office of Summer and International Programs.

Internships and Fellowships Opportunities

There are also numerous internship and fellowship opportunities during your undergraduate studies and after graduation. Be sure to explore the many options by clicking on your desired type of experience.
